Brody and Maura met another set of great grandparents today. The three of us came to Bluffton while Chris is in Illinois for some training. Chris' grandparents and Aunt Sheri came down from North Augusta to visit for the day. This was the first time Maura and Brody met Great Grandmother and Great Granddaddy Taylor! Hopefully we will be going to North Augusta soon to visit, but we will let Chris come with us next time!

We have very poor wireless service in St. Augustine, so I am sitting in the Publix parking lot at 11:00pm trying to work and upload photos. Maura and Brody are having fun, but it has taken two days for them to get somewhat adjusted. They enjoyed the beach on Sunday for about an hour, and then they were done with the heat. I do not think they ever recovered on Sunday from being so hot. Today Jamie and I took them shopping at the outlets while the guys played golf. Of course, it was still really hot, but at least they were in and out of stores. I have a couple of pictures from the beach so far, but I was more concerned with getting them happy than I was with taking pictures. We will try the pool tomorrow, so I will post more pictures when I get them.

Fifteen Weeks

It really is hard to believe how fast Maura and Brody are growing. We are just having so much fun. Brody has decided he really likes the camera and will give me endless smiles. Maura is always serious when I take pictures and won't crack a smile. I know she gets that from her daddy! We had three visitors this week: Grandmother Thomas, Aunt Molly, and Aunt Laura. Brody and Maura had the best time playing with each of them. Next week we are going on vacation to the beach, so we will have lots of photos from the beach and the pool. Hopefully soon I will get at least one photo of both babies smiling!

Maura and Brody are 14 weeks today. Chris and I are just having so much fun with them especially since we are well rested when we wake up in the mornings. It has been five nights in a row that both Maura and Brody have slept from 9:00 until 6:00 or 7:00. Both Maura and Brody have started sucking their thumbs now. I tried at first to change the thumb out for a pacifier, but I think I have lost that battle. Maybe the thumb sucking won't last long!
