First Highchair Experience

Tonight was Maura and Brody's first dinner in their highchairs. Chris and I gave them frozen banana for entertainment while we both ate, but that did not last too long. They did enjoy sitting right next to us, but both are at the point where they watch every bite we take. It won't be long before Maura and Brody are eating table food!

Granny's 80th Birthday Party

My Granny's 80th birthday is October 25, but we surprised her with a party this past weekend in Savannah. The entire family was able to come with the exception of Uncle Donald. It only took 80 years for Granny to have her first surprise birthday party! Unfortunately, Brody did not nap at all on Saturday, so he was in rare form which did not make for any good photos. Maura was smiling away and eating up the attention though. Here are some photos from the party.

First Bath in the Big Tub

Brody and Maura had their first bath in the big tub tonight. Since they are both sitting up, we decided to give it a try. They were not too sure what to do at first, but they quickly started splashing! Even Chatham came to the edge of the tub to see what was going on, and you can see the top of his head in the third picture.

Halloween Outfits

Maura and Brody are sporting some more Halloween outfits. These came from Aunt Laura. This morning Maura and Brody woke up an hour early, so we had plenty of time for playing and pictures before I had to start the day. Maura is sitting up now, and in this first picture she was trying to get in front of Brody! Yesterday he took a book away from Maura, so I think the sibling rivalry has begun!

Brody and Maura finally were able to wear some new smocked outfits that Lulu made.

They both looked absolutely adorable for church this morning, and many people gave compliments on their smocked clothes. Of course, I was limited

on the pictures because we did not want to be late!

Maura and Brody turned six months old this week. We are planning some professional portraits, but I did take some of my own. The twins also had their six month check-up this week, so of course they had to get more shots. Brody weighed 17lbs 13 oz and was 27", and Maura weighed 13lbs 5oz and was 26.5". Both are doing really well, but the pediatrician did warn that separation anxiety might start soon! That was not good news considering I have a presentation in Phoenix and one in Atlanta in the next few weeks. Get ready grandparents!!!
