Today we took Maura and Brody to the Jacksonville Zoo. They both thoroughly enjoyed seeing all of the animals and even petting some goats. We did not even make it back to I-95 before both Maura and Brody were sound asleep in the back seat.
It is truly becoming harder and harder to get them both in a decent pose for a picture. Guess that comes with the age.
Maura and Brody have matching spider shirts for Halloween that my mom made. It was rather hilarious to watch them immediately after I put them on because they were not too sure about the long sleeves. They don't remember what it felt like to wear long sleeves. I really wish I had a camera of Brody walking around throwing his arms up and down in the air. Chris and I got a great laugh at 7:00 in the morning!
Although it is still early, I think Brody is going to be a lefty. He colors only with his left hand, and he predominately eats with his left hand. Yet another way he is just like his daddy. Maura still uses both hands, but she seems to favor her right hand more than the left.
Maura and Brody are 18 months old now! The time really has flown by, and Chris and I are enjoying every minute of it. Today we went for the well check, and we have reached one of many competitive milestones. Maura was taller than Brody today. It was only by 1/4 inch, but it still counts. Of course Brody had the advantage in the weight category by nearly three pounds, but Maura is claiming the height advantage. Maura climbed on daddy's lawnmower while I put Brody in his car seat!
