Celebrating Five Years of Brody and Maura

Celebrating 5th birthday for Maura and Brody Saturday, March 23, 2013. Most of the family came down to visit. The weather was terrible, so the party at the park was canceled. Good thing the family came early to celebrate at home!

Jump Rope for Heart

Maura and Brody participated in Jump Rope for Heart today. Combined they raised $280 for the American Heart Association, and the school gives them the luxury of throwing a pie in the principal's face for raising so much money.

This weekend Angela and I took the kids to Atlanta to stay with Laura. We took our first trip to the circus, and Legoland was a first as well.

Christmas 2012

 Brody wanted nothing but Cars 2 items this Christmas. Santa brought lots of Cars. They are all lined up as Brody plays his Leap Pad.

Disney World

We joined Chris in Orlando before his tax conference as a surprise visit to Disney World. Chris and I had not been since we were young, so it was exciting for us to take the children. Maura and Brody understood as we were driving towards the Magic Kingdom because they recognized the signs. Conner just started screaming with excitement not sure what was happening. This first trip was all about meeting as many characters as possible. Conner was brave until it came time for pictures.

Conner's Second Birthday

We celebrated Conner's 2nd birthday this weekend in Savannah. Cannot believe he is two. This boy is extremely into alligators, but I am working on teaching him to love the bulldogs!

Pre-K Begins

August 9, 2012 marked a new beginning in the Thomas household. I dropped Maura and Brody off this morning for the first day at elementary school. Both had a fabulous day, and we think this school year will be a blast!

July 2012 North Augusta

We went to North Augusta the end of July for a visit with the great-grandparents before school begins. The kids had a great time playing, and they met some great aunts and uncles for the first time while we were there.

Fourth Birthday for Two!

The birthday week started with a visit from Grandmother and Granddaddy Thomas, Aunt Brandi and Cousin Miley. Maura and Brody both enjoyed the visit, presents and of course the cake!

Maura had a Belle cake. Brody, of course, had a Thomas the Train cake!

Field trip to DNR

This week Maura and Brody's class took a field trip to the Dept of Natural Resources. Maura and Brody got to go on a boat for the first time even though we didn't leave the dock! They saw plenty of aquatic animals, but neither was brave enough to touch any. Both thoroughly enjoyed the marsh walk!

South Carolina Christmas

After Christmas we went to visit the Thomas side of the family in South Carolina. The kids had a blast playing with their cousins, aunts and uncles, and grandparents.

Christmas Morning

As excited as they were for Santa to come visit, Maura and Brody had to be woken up Christmas morning. Conner woke up first, so Chris and I decided to wake the twins.
