North Augusta

This weekend we went to visit the great grandparents in North Augusta. It was a treat to have all five Thomas grandchildren in the same place at once. We had some fabulous photos of the grandchildren with the Thomases and the Taylors. Surprisingly, none of the children had a meltdown that day!

First Days of School

Maura and Brody started preschool Monday. Brody was not super happy to be missing cartoons while he was at school, but he did have a fun day!

It only took ten months, but Conner finally started crawling. Conner is definitely taking after Brody because he crawled to get a Thomas the Train DVD! Brody has plenty Thomas DVDs, so I wish I had known that was what would make Conner get going. Time to clean up the little pieces to all of Maura and Brody's toys!

End of July

The summer has flown by, and I have not updated pictures as I should have been doing. The summer has been fun just playing and visiting with family. Last week we spent time with the Thomas side of the family. We spent a day in Charleston at the aquarium, went to the Sand Box on Hilton Head and played with the Thomas cousins.

Conner just wanted to see what Brody was playing on his DVD player.

July 4th Weekend

Maura, Brody and Conner stayed with Lulu and Papa for the July 4th weekend. Chris and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the quietness of the house. It's a good thing mom took a few pictures for me because it was getting close to two months since I have posted.

Seagrove 2011

The third week in May was spent at Seagrove Beach in Florida. The whole Hazlip side of the family was able to go, and we all had a relaxing yet fun week. This was Conner's first trip to Seagrove, and it's the first one Maura and Brody will remember. Brody did not care of the sand on his feet too much, and we can't decide which side of the family he gets this from! Maura wanted to be on the beach or riding bikes most of the time. Conner throughly enjoyed it all!

The whole month of April has flown by without a post. I did take pictures of the children a few times in April, but I have neglected to post any. Conner's first Easter was wonderful even though he had no clue what was going on. He just watched Maura and Brody find all the eggs and eat all of the chocolate. Next year, he will be right in the mix. Taking pictures on Easter Sunday was quite the challenge. I got a few good ones of the casual Easter outfits during the week, but no one was interested in pictures before going to church on Easter Sunday.
