This Sunday we went to Crane Cottage on Jekyll after church for pictures with Santa. Grandmother Thomas smocked gingerbread men outfits for Maura and Brody, and we wanted them to take pictures with Santa in those outfits. By the time Chris and I picked the twins up from the nursery, Brody had spit up on his outfit and lost his socks and shoes. Maura had kicked her shoes off, ripped the bow out of her hair, and had biten a hole in her tights. Her whole foot was poking through the tights! We just laughed and did the best we could to get a few pictures with Santa. Maura loved Santa, and Brody lasted about two minutes before the tears starting coming!

We tried to get some photos of Maura and Brody in their many Christmas outfits. Aunt Laura bought them some cute white outfits with candy canes on them. Maura and Brody wore those to church last week, and Chris tried to take a picture of the three of us before heading out the door. We were never successful in getting three smiles at the same time!

Too funny....I just started laughing when I read your post. I hear you about getting them dressed up all pretty to only have them get messed up a short hour later! Happens to us all the time!!! I can only imagine with TWO!! Call me when you come in for Christmas!
