Saturday, March 21 was the celebration for Maura and Brody's first birthday. I had a friend come over to take the pictures for the day, but I did manage to get a few myself. Of course, she took all of the action shots with the birthday cake!
Maura and Brody each had their own smash cake. Brody went face first into his cake. Maura was a little unsure at first, but she eventually took a bite out of the cake.

Can't believe they are already (almost) one!!!! Doesn't time fly? I wasn't quite as aware of how quickly time passed until we had Meryt. Now I would give anything to pause it, just for a moment, so I can enjoy every second.
They are beautiful!!!
