...and the eating continues

Brody after his war with carrots
Maura did not leave too many carrots!

Brody and Maura do clean up for church!

We had no idea how much Maura and Brody would enjoy baby food. It has not taken long at all for both of them to get highly inpatient while Chris and I get their food ready each evening. When we put them in their seats and put the bibs on, we better have that food ready or all chaos breaks out! Maura has loved every food so far, but Brody was not too keen on carrots. He tolerated them, but Chris knows he that Brody is just waiting for a steak!

Eating Squash

Brody and Maura have been eating squash the past few days.
It really did not take long for them to catch on to eating solids as opposed to drinking formula. Of course, Brody chowed down the first time he had some, but Maura was not far behind him!
We are moving on to carrots tomorrow night!

Maura and Brody
First Day of School

Aunt Molly, Brody, Maura and Uncle Craig
We went to North Augusta to visit the Thomas great- grandparents last weekend. They had never met Maura and Brody before, so they really enjoyed the visit. It was great to see Maw and Paw Paw because even Chris and I had not seen them since the holidays last year.
I also took the first picture of Maura and Brody this morning. I decided to take a picture of them on the first day of school for Glynn County students. I will do this every year to see how much they have grown! In just a few years I will be taking their picture before really taking them to school for the first time!

Things have been going well, but we are all super busy. My workload has increased tremendously, and I am still trying to learn some new things. Next week Maura and Brody start with the babysitter a few days each week in the mornings. Hopefully then I will be able to get more work finished. They are both growing so fast. We go tomorrow for their four month check-up, so we will see how much they have actually grown. And again they are each getting four shots!
